The Celebration of the Mass last weekend, with Choral accompaniment for the deceased members of the St Rita Sodality and an invitation to the families to join the members of the Sodality in the Shrine Center for refreshments and friendship was heartwarming.

The Mass along with the inspiring music for the Feast Day of St Rita was a solemn tribute to a woman who exemplified the love of Christ in her very being as a wife, mother and religious. St Rita was not exempt from the ups and downs that sometimes we all endure, but she remained steadfast in her devotion and love to do the will of God.

It was through my grandmother’s example of love and fervent prayer to St Rita that impressed me so much that I wanted to participate in the energy that makes the Sodality’s mission of keeping the memory of St Rita alive through works of charity and the well-being of Holy Rosary Shrine.

Congratulations to the six new members that were inducted into the Sodality.
