At a well-attended meeting in preparation of the Shrine Fair to be held August 30th, 31st and September 1st, one of the topics we discussed was the popular Raffle Baskets and welcoming displays.
The Shrine Community is indebted to Linda Bolis and her mom Josie Dadducci and family for the 15 years they worked tirelessly to organize the famous raffle extravaganza that over the years has been their signature of excellence and labor of love for our beautiful Holy Rosary Shrine Community. Thank you so much.
We could never give them due justice and will not even try, but in keeping with their spirit and for the good of the Shrine, we have formed a committee. We start with reaching out to you and asking for your generous help. We cannot sit on this because time is of the essence and we hope we can count on you.
Do you have the expertise of creating theme baskets and would like to donate a basket, donated by yourself or in memory of a love one? Our committee will graciously accept new items that we can group into meaningful themes and create baskets ourselves. If you decide to donate a basket we will need to know the contents.
Some considerations: Bed and Bath, kitchen appliances, baking dishes and utensils, comforter set for queen size, set of pots and pans, gift cards for restaurants, bakeries, spa’s, retail stores, scratch tickets, pocket books, children’s games, China, crochet items, throw pillows, novelty items, unopened liquor and wine, body lotion and cologne, tools, fine chocolate, crackers, coffee, tea, and jams. Last but not least, large baskets and heavy duty clear wrapping roll paper to wrap the baskets securely.
Kindly drop off any items with your name, address and telephone number to the Shrine Center during business hours: Monday thru Thursday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Please indicate the value of your donation. Items should be given to Sari, Business Manager. You can contact Lucia Gill at 978-771-3111 with any questions. Thank you in advance. ~ Anita Sapienza
