By a decree dated December 18,2024, Archbishop Henning has named eleven churches, including Holy Rosary Shrine, as “Jubilee Churches” for the Holy Year beginning on December 29, 2024 and ending on December 28, 2025.
This means that a plenary indulgence can be gained by visiting HRS and devoutly participating in Holy Mass or other prayers or devotions as explained in the decree. The usual conditions for obtaining an indulgence apply. The full decree will be posted on the bulletin boards of the church and copies will be available.
We are grateful to the Lord and Archbishop Henning for this privilege and we pray that many pilgrims will come to our beautiful shrine to obtain the indulgence and also to make a good confession.
