Held at the Shrine Center on December 30 was awesome. Congratulations to all the actors and actresses who made this play a joy and such a festive occasion. The entire evening was heartwarming, and the turnout was wonderful. One of the many highlights of the play was the little drummer boy who did an excellent job with very little coaching! It’s tough to say who the Oscar goes to, but certainly all deserved an award for their outstanding performances, and Father Andrew was a great producer/director.
Thank-you to our friars for doing this and for making Christmas extra special for so many. Also, the St. Alfio Society was very kind and generous to donate food, snacks and gifts, and Santa Claus was very merry and lifelike, and the children, as well as adults enjoyed his hearty laugh and his surprising visit.
May God bless us all, and may 2024 be a good year for all of us. For those suffering with sickness, loss, depression, poverty, we pray that Jesus, our Savior will heal their suffering and their brokenness and bless them all with peace, love, faith and spiritual and emotional healing. ~Connie Pickles
