The Daybreak Shelter paper goods drive sponsored by the Helping Hands Ministry at Holy Rosary Shrine was more successful that any of us could have imagined! We literally filled a truck AND the back seat of the truck with hundreds of donated rolls of paper towels, toilet paper, packages of napkins, paper plates, plastic utensils, dozens of bottles of dish and laundry detergent and so many other extremely useful products too numerous to mention. To say that the paper goods drive was a success would be a huge understatement.
The generosity of our shrine community is overwhelming and there simply are no words to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who donated to this most worthy cause. Daybreak Shelter was overwhelmed with gratitude when they saw us pull up with the truckload of much needed items, all thanks to all of you, who generously helped the less fortunate.
Thank-you from the Helping Hands Ministry at Holy Rosary Shrine and Daybreak Shelter for going above and beyond to help those less fortunate.
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:40-45.
Thank-you!
