HOLY ROSARY SHRINE

May 13th is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. On this date in 1917 Our Blessed Mother appeared for the first time to three shepherd children in this small town in Portugal. She told them: “pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.” The indescribably beautiful woman was “dressed in white more brilliant than the sun.” A Rosary hung from her right hand. During the October apparition she identified herself as “the Lady of the Rosary.”

I would like to encourage everyone to come and participate in our candlelight procession in honor of Our Lady of Fatima this Sunday evening, May 14th at 8:00pm. A prayerful procession is a simple but powerful way to give public witness of our love for God, and our gratitude to Him for sending us His Holy Mother to remind us of what is most important, our salvation and sanctification!
